Toys For Tots/Canned food Benefit At The Newport

                      

     This is the time for giving and that is just what these local bands did when they came together at the Newport Music Hall on December 9th 2017. They put on one hell of a concert for 2 different causes. 1 being Toys For Tots because every child deserves to have a gift under their christmas tree and 2 Central Ohio Food bank because no one should never have to go without something to eat.
     

  JTB- These guys are a young group made up of 2 guys here in Columbus, Ohio and this show was the first time we have seen or heard of them and I have to admit they can put on a good, energetic show and of course they were proud to a part of the cause. These guys were so humble and grateful that they had the opportunity to help other people in this time of giving. We can not wait to see these great artist again.

A Decade Apart-  I know these guys and absolutely love seeing them perform and just talking to them. The singer Josh was so sick at this benifit but when they were on stage you would never know it until their set was over and he walked up to us it was clear that he was sick. These guys are amazing on stage and off and I try NOT to miss any of their shows. They are entertaining, funny, sweet & kind well let's face it there is NOT enough kind words to describe this band and their kindness and how much they care for other people especially kids.

     Anytime an Artist or Band take their personal time/family time to put on a benefit show to help families in need is ALWAYS a plus. These artist did not have to sacrifice/give up their personal time but did so the kids and their families could have a good holiday season and I am proud to say I know these guys and to be lucky enough and have the chance to cover this great cause. 
    Next time you see someone struggling or in need please find it in your heart to stop and offer some kind of assistance wether it be saying Hi, giving them a sandwich or a bottled water or whatever you can because you don't know their story, what they had been through or still going through. A little bit of Kidness goes a very long way and I know with our busy lives it is NEVER too late to be kind to a stranger, family, friends or an acquaintance.
