A Decade Apart @ Big Room Bar
This is my first blog this year due to some unseen things. I am so honored to be kicking it off with this post and it is highlighting our very own A Decade Apart.
I started following these guy's band after their guitarist Donald sent me their song "Forgiveness" via email almost 2yrs ago and I was in a "WOW" moment. The rawness of Josh and Donald's vocals is amazing and the passion that Travis, Sean and Tim have while playing is an amazing thing to watch. These guy's are our friends and we are following their every career moving steps & it's been a wild ride so far.
On April 5th of this year we witnessed a huge step in their career with a headlining sold out show at the Big Room Bar here in Columbus Ohio. They were so grateful and humble for all of the support and that's always a plus to the fans. With that being a HUGE thing for this amazing band, let's go back to November/December of 2018 when these guys signed with 10 & 8 management and landing the very smart, business savvy, music loving Mrs. Whitney Shoemaker as their manager. This is AMAZING for this band and they make sure that they let everyone know how thankful they are for their fans(more like a family), friends and family even if it's your first time ever seeing them they always make you feel like you've known them forever.
I can not wait to see what the rest of this year has in store for them and they deserve every great thing that happens to them. Thank you guy's and your families for sharing this journey with us as fans/media and friends, we are extremely proud of you! Keep on kicking butt and playing your music. To everyone else that reads this go to spotify or apple music and check out Premonitions pt 1 and their cover of Black Bears "The One" and keep watching for Premonitions pt 2.

Zoo Trippin' Halloween Bash
When going into this coverage I didn't know what to expect however I was blown away. Columbus Ohio has one of the best music scenes and we have so much appreciation and respect for our local bands and that is where this post comes in.

As it got more into the night and Zoo Trippin' was up it was a complete turnaround, their energy and stage presence was on point and Zoo Trippin' was very good at keeping the crowd entertained by including them into the show during their set.
These guys can definitely put on a hell of a show and their music is very catchy and good. However I do believe that they have a lot more to offer the music scene and I can't wait to see what they do with that. Whether booking more kick ass shows or releasing new music or even a music video. I want to see more shows from Zoo Trippin' because you can tell that they are one of those bands that never puts on the same show twice and they seem to be one of the very few bands that wants to keep you guessing and ALL music lover's and concert goers can appreciate that.
Keep up the amazing work and we can not wait to catch your next show!

Letters Of Transit: The Endless Search For Something New Ep Review
The Endless Search For Something New: EP Review
As everyone knows we love our local music scene here in Columbus Ohio and this post is about our very own Letters Of Transit.
These guys released an EP back in July called "The Endless Search For Something New" and I have to say that I love the 4 tracks on this EP. This EP contains the tracks "Home, again, All the time, Go! & Alive With Something Violent" and I have to say tha "all the time" is my favorite song from this EP.
With strong lyrics and song titles really sets the tone for the music especially with great bass, guitar and kick ass drums and of course the voice. The singer has that deep, raspy sound and that is a huge plus because that sound is NOT something that can be faked at all.
If you have not checked out Letters Or Transit's new EP, then head on over to Bandcamp or spotify and give it a listen!

A Decade Apart 8/22/18
Everyone has that one favorite local band and it is no secret that A Decade Apart is our favorite band here in Columbus, Ohio.
With that being said, Yes! This is another post about them. We recently got to see them open up for Gideon and alongside Chamber, Nothing Left, Polaris and Varials. All performances were great and of course throughout the crazy challenges that was thrown at A Decade Apart they still put on a banger!
Problem #2 the lack of support for ADA during this show and that is a huge problem. The reason that is a problem is because Yes! You had fans there BUT ADA also promoted the hell out of this show and that alone brought in a lot of people. The fact that the other 4 bands did NOT acknowledge that ADA was the opener for this show and thank them is beyond disrespectful. This is NOT a competition between bands, this is where bands should be supportive for the other bands and show appreciation even for the local bands.
A Decade Apart was so amazing during all of this craziness and they still killed it as always even with a 20 minute set and a last minute set time change and they even showed appreciation for all of the bands and the fans. These guys are the poster child for standing up and continuing to do what they love and rolling through the punches of the music scene and we have mad respect for them for that. I do know the fans were not to happy but these guys just went with it and in my opinion came out on top with in all honesty the BEST performance of the night. Thanks for another killer night ADA and we will see ya soon!
