The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend A Broken Heart

First let me start off by saying this is not only a very hard post for me to write but it is very emotional on a
whole different level. As a bratty 14 year old I would mess with my mom and cousin because every Saturday
they would watch the "One Night Only" concert and to annoy them I would try and blast Mariah Carey over top of the big screen TV. I also know and understand that this is dangerous because these guys were not just music artist. Barry, Robin and Maurice are music legends and they have broke so many records while continuing to write hit after hit. They also had their  ups and downs just like all family however theirs was played out in the media. You also knew when they were not on the same page because they would release a solo album/song.
With this being said I am going to do a video/podcast and maybe a live video on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter since I am finally getting the courage to talk about these amazing humans. Please keep watch on our social media's for an update and to when you can hear our thoughts/impressions about the documentary The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend A Broken Heart and we will answer questions and listening to your feedback as we are VERY new to this.

Throw Back Thursday Ft Twenty One Pilots

Here we go with this week's "TBT" post, Exciting right? Well this week I asked my son on his thoughts for this week's post and he wanted it to be Twenty One Pilots because on the September 18th it will be exactly 2 years since we seen them for the first time in concert. My son's birthday is August and all he wanted was TOP tickets but as every TOP fan knows Josh and Tyler is from Columbus Ohio and that show sold out fast so we did not get the tickets. So one day my husband was at work and WNCI radio station in Columbus was giving away tickets and he gave it a shot and he won and it was clear who was going to that concert my son and I because my husband and daughter was not a fan at that time. When telling my son "Your dad won tickets and you are going to the TOP concert" his reaction was priceless.

I am pretty sure that it really didn't hit him that it was actually happening until we got to
to the venue, in the seats and Tyler and Josh was standing on the stage in front of us. That concert
was one of the best shows, they connected with the fans even the ones far away and their energy just drew you in and kept your attention. Their music speaks to people and they make sure you know that no matter what you are going through there is always people there that love you. They really do put on an amazing show and they don't take the fame to their head and when you get artists that is as grounded and level headed then these are the ones you want to pay attention too.
I am grateful that I was able to share this experience with my son and it was truly an amazing show and we can not wait to see what they have in store for their fans on their next music adventure.

Josh even shopping at Autozone for his car needs(Truly down to earth)

My son Trenton and his friend Riyan got to meet Josh and Tyler
back in June(Yes she was crying)

Plaid Brixx, Beyond Pluto & Coya Hill 8/19/17

We got the chance to interview and see Plaid Brixx perform on 8/19/17 and it was amazing! When we got to the Venue we let management know that we were there for the blog interview. As we were waiting outside the Venue Chris Duggan came walking across the street and immediately walked up to Trenton and I and started talking to us(he even remembered Trenton and remember Trenton's name from a week before at the AJR concert). We explained to him that we was there for the Blog interview and of course the show so he walked us into the Venue and then we got to do the interview and it just felt like old friends catching up and he helped us relax because we was nervous. Hey it was our first blog interview so who wouldn't be nervous, Right?
We enjoyed sitting down with Chris before the show and it turned out to be very eye opening because it allowed us to see what the artist goes and is going through to make their dream a reality.  You can check out the full interview on YouTube! just click the link below.

As for their performance it was very entertaining, their song selection was awesome, and their sound is all over the place BUT it works for them! There is definitely a sound for everyone.
Personally Renegades and Since You Came was my favorite performances of the evening, they are very energetic and overall fantastic performers. They were very active with their fans when they did not have to be. They made sure that ALL of their fans felt welcomed and showed their appreciation for their fans and to many fans that is the best thing you can do as an artist. If you get the chance to attend one of their shows, I would definitely go! This is a band that we will follow closely and attend their shows in Ohio.

                Beyond Pluto
I had never heard of Beyond Pluto until the Plaid Brixx concert and I have to say they are good and entertaining. For my children and I to say a performance or music is good and entertaining is hard because we do have a very wide range of taste in music because all music has a story to tell and we will be doing more looking into this band. performance was good, setlist was good, and they can keep your attention just like Plaid Brixx. They as well make the fans feel very welcomed and appreciated, we really want to get more about their story so watch for more about this

               Coya Hill
I just want to point out that we love ALL music! However this band could not keep our attention in the first song, I am sorry because we want to see everyone achieve their goals and make their dreams become a reality. I believe that these guys have what it takes and the determination to make it happen but you have to get the audiences attention on that first song.          Unfortunately we did not make it through the first song before we decided to go ahead and leave and for music lovers it broke our hearts because we have NEVER left a concert early because we believe in seeing what every artist has to offer. With this being said we WILL attempt to see these guys again to see where they are at that point in their career. Who knows! it was late and they were the last band to go on and everyone deserves another chance, Right? so yes there will be another blog on this band and we are wishing them the best of luck!
