Jessica Jones with Highway 14/32 south set to release 'Go There' on August 25th!

Courtsey Of Jessica Jones
Okay guys, here we go!!!! This little lady has a new single coming out 'Go there' will be on all music streaming platforms at 12am on 8/25/2020.

This is Ms. Jones 2nd single and if you heard her first single "Mine" then you know that she can sing her little heart out and make you feel what she is feeling while making these songs. So now that we are in the final countdown for the new single 'Go There', What do you think the song will sound like? upbeat, dance, sad, moving on, country vibes ect.?? who knows but it sure is exciting playing a guessing game.
Some things that Jessica has already told the world is that she is passionate about her music, family and friends, Do you think 'Go There' will be about any of those? All I know is the excitement is really getting me pumped and I can not wait to hear this hit.

Jessica has been working on her music career for a very long time and watching her take the people that she loves and the things that she enjoys and turn them into a song is mind blowing to me. I love how she is super appreciative towards everything she had accomplished with the 'Mine' single. However I'm hoping to see 'Go There' hit the charts with a bang. I have said it before and I will say it again but Country music has not been good for awhile and then here came along Adam Whitehead, Jessica Jones, Jason Andrews & Aaron Simmons and they brought true country back with them.

So let's recap this one more time. Jessica Jones has a new single coming out  8/25/2020 called "Get There" and you can stream it on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play Music ect. If you like what you hear then go find her on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and make sure she knows that you love her new song #GetThere.

So I know we all think about what life would be like if social media was taken away, Right? There is some good and bad things about social media but the one thing I love about it is you get to keep in contact with family members and friends that are far away and near. However when you are using it for networking/business to reach out to people, you really never know who you will come into contact with. Crystal and I both met Adam Whitehead on a social media platform, in my case it was TikTok and Crystal met him on Facebook.  Social Media platforms are a great way to network and grow your business(whatever your business may be).

Crystal is a singer/songwriter from Minnesota with a passion for music weather it may be writing the songs or singing them. After emailing with Crystal I found out just how deep her passion for her music and family really goes. So here goes my Q & A with Crystal and we hope you like it!

What made you decide to write songs? I've been playing piano since I was 6 years old, and sung in choirs ect. since I was young as well. This past Winter I realized that since I love performing for others I should actively trying to share my gifts  with others. I started out playing piano a couple of nights at a local restaurant but that wasn't enough for me. I wanted to sing and give others the same feeling I get when I hear live music.

Has writing always been a passion of yours? I started up an acoustic duo in February. I started writing songs in April because I wanted to have original music so I could eventually record. I've only been writing for a few months but I love it.

Adam said that you are a songwriter, have you thought about singing the songs yourself? I met Adam because I randomly added him on Facebook for the purpose of networking. I had no idea who he was but I'm really glad I added him!

I am planning to sing as many songs that I can write as possible but I'm definitely open to pitching them to other artists as well.

Is your songs based off of experience?  A lot of what I write is based off experience. I also like to write songs that touch on topics that are rarely written about or from a new angle. I get my ideas from thoughts and experiences I have,  from a phrase or story I hear that makes me think "Hey! This would make a great song!"

I love doing interviews and post this way because I love hearing/reading what they have to say and learning their process for their song writting and recording styles. I love hearing about how they get their inspirations for their music and I am thankful that these amazing talented artist give me the chance to write about them and their passion. Thank you Crystal for taking the time and giving me what I needed to write this article.

Jessica Jones: Mine

I had recently did a post on Adam Whitehead's new single "Single Mom" and after that post he asked me if I would be interested in covering the new single by Jessica Jones called "Mine". I was honored that he asked me to do this because let's face it I am a country girl through and through and I love putting my 2 cents in. I checked out the song and at first I was like wow this is an awesome love song that gave me chills with the power of her voice.

However after chatting with Jessica about the song and getting a little background about this song and why she chose this song to not only write but to release it as a single and WOW was my reaction to it.

With lyrics like "I'll steal your heart and you'll steal mine", "I wanna be with you my whole life so take this ring and be my wife" and "40 years down the road now your time has come for you to leave this place" it screams love song about 2 people that has been together forever. It is actually a break up song about 2 people who vowed to love each other for the rest of their lives but unfortantly it didn't end up that way. When I spoke with Jessica she said that she wanted this song to be about love that people can listen to over the years and still get butterflies instead of it being about anger. I honestly love her outlook on that type of situation because things change, people change and life is too short to be angry or hold grudges even though those are true feelings that people feel during a separation. I love how she takes her story, her feelings and puts it in her music and I admire how she considers "Mine" hope for other people and their relationships and that truly is amazing after what she went through. I encourage everyone to go check out Jessica's new single "Mine" no matter what kind of mood you are in. This song can truly go far and her career is going to skyrocket so please go check it out and make sure you follow her on Facebook!

Single Mom by Adam Whitehead Ft. Dalles Jacobus

                   Single Mom

This is a very interesting way  to start this blog but I was scrolling through TikTok(yes TikTok) because with the Pandemic there has not been any shows to write about. However I came across this gentleman named Adam Whitehead and someone had done a duet with his new single "Single Mom" Ft. Dalles Jacobus and I loved it because I mean come on Country music is in my blood. So I decided to follow Adam on TikTok so I can see more of his videos that he post. He soon followed me back and we started talking and hearing the story behind the song I decided that this is one song and country artist I HAD to write about because in a lot of ways a lot of us women can relate in one way or another.
After listening to the song I was in tears as I was a teen mom and got very lucky(yes my high school sweetheart stayed and now we are married and have been together almost 20yrs). Even though my dad was around and traveled for work to provide for our family so my mom was raising 5 children on her own while wheelchair bound and oh boy we did not give her an easy time because we were kids and thought we knew everything. However she never gave up & I have seen her struggle and cry because she was trying her best with what she was given.   "Single Mom"  is about his mom and it was a way of saying "Thank You" for doing the best she could and for being so strong  while raising a young man on your own.

Teen parents have a hard enough time trying to raise their child/children however single parents have to be mom and dad. I know a lot of single parents and see what they go through on a daily basis but they choose to do the best as they can and give those kids what she can.
This song is honestly(in my opinion) a tribute and Thank you to Adam's mother for raising a gentleman and a young lady. With lyrics like "Pinchin Every Quarter and Every Dollar everyday that goes by" and "The coulda, shoulda beens and every teenage sins" really pull at your heart strings. I'm so impressed with this song because you NEVER hear this type of country music anymore. It also shows a standup guy that realizes his mom had done the best as she could have with what she was given at that time in their lives.

His voice rocks and his passion for his music blows my mind. He truly used his passion and voice for an amazing tribute to his mom. I really can not wait to see where he goes with this song(shhh he has another song called Outlawed that's really good too) and where he goes in his career. Honestly anyone that knows me I am not crazy about new country music but I will back this guy and his music a 110% because it is legit and true country. So if you haven't heard of his music then I URGE you to listen to it especially Single Mom and then follow him on Facebook, TikTok and other social medias that he may have and show him and his music love and support.

Soul 2 Soul: Tim McGraw and Faith Hill

Soul 2 Soul: Tim McGraw & Faith Hill

So every music lover should know the love story between 2 of country's greatest artist of all time. Tim & Faith started when Faith was signed up to open for Tim. The pair married in 1996 and that's where this storybook romance started. However the question is, how did they make it work after 20 years together, 3 kids and of course crazy media gossip. Well my friend and I went to see them when they came to Columbus, Ohio and after seeing them together on stage, it was very clear.

The Chemistry, Love and Respect is the key! they clearly have a bond that can not be broken and they showed that through the whole show. They switched between their duets and their solo music which was a great added touch. They are amazing in concert together and I would definitely see them again if giving the chance. There was never down time, it was all entertainment from the time they went on stage to the very end. So if you have the chance I highly recommend going and check them out and definitely check out their new song "Speak To A Girl" if you haven't already, just click the link to see their new video!  https://youtu.be/FD-iFa5IjB8
